HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Well, We're sad to say goodbye to 2015 because it was such a memorable year since we won our first book award. But the new year of 2016 promises many more wonderful and exciting events for us!
Later this month, we will be participating in the biggest toy exhibit in the world – the New York Toy Fair where we will be showing all of our books, CDs, t-shirts and other delightful gifts. It will be cold up there in New York, but we can’t wait. We will be sure to wear our warmest sweaters and keep you posted on any news from up there!
By the way, we just found out that Aunt Eeebs and Sprout are working on books 8 and 9 of our series entitled “The Bicycle of Many Colors” and “But It’s the Truth!” which will be available later this year. All the DIno-Buddies are featured in both of the books, and we'll tell you more about them next month when we return from our adventure in New York. And who knows --- I bet they will be award winners, too!

The sister/brother team of Aunt Eeebs and Sprout have won the prestigious 2015 Moonbeam Children’s Book Award for the latest children’s book, Who Stole Second Base?, which focuses on overcoming bullying. With the awareness of bullying as a global epidemic, their book features the adorable Dino-Buddies in a challenging baseball game against the not-so-very-nice Dino-BuLLies who just won’t play fairly. But a baseball glove offers a special message regarding confidence and courage that enables the Dino-Buddies to overcome the bullying tactics of the Dino-BuLLies. Although the Dino-Buddies win the game, they more importantly learn that when you play fairly, you’re always a winner!!

Great news! We won the prestigious 2015 Silver Moonbeam Children’s Book Award for our latest book, Who Stole Second Base?, which focuses on overcoming bullying. With the awareness of bullying as a global epidemic, our book features the Dino-Buddies in a challenging baseball game against the not-so-very-nice Dino-BuLLies who just won’t play fairly. The award-winning book, “Who Stole Second Base?” grew out of Sprout’s love for the game of baseball which he shared with his son, along with their life experiences in the sport. In fact, two of the dinosaur characters in the books are names for his children, “Lisi” and “Trey.” Response to the book and its message of anti-bullying has been overwhelmingly positive as evidenced by the many 5-star reviews on Goodreads.com and Amazon.
